Today we had our 2 month checkup and she did great. Olivia is 23" long and is 12.8 pounds...she's in the 75% with both...very proportionate. We got 2 shots and she did great!
To date we are doing the following:
- eating 4 ounces of soy based formula about every 3-4 hours
- sleep 4-6 hours at a time at night (the first time she goes down...we're working on staying to sleep a little longer the second time)
- Olivia's very alert, follows objects, acknowledges when she hears noises and loves to play!
- Currently we love our activity mat, a Tag ball that she can now move around to get the tags in her mouth, does really well with tummy time.
- Holds her head up very well and fights us now on putting it down when we go to burp her.
Things we're very close to and need to work on:
- Almost rolling onto her side (Dr. Light said not to leave her alone anymore since she could very well surprise us and roll over since she's so active)
- Need to figure out how to get her to grab a hold of a rattle (any ideas with this would be great)...she's got a solid grip on our fingers and her bottle when she's eating
- Increasing formula to 5-6 ounces...shouldn't be too hard.
Below are a few photos from our visit...I forgot the camera at her 1 month visit!
On the way to Dr. Light's with Daddy's shades on...it was bright out today!
